Food Plots
As you will quickly notice from the pictures below, many hours are spent on the research, planning and development of multiple food plots. Throughout the course of a year, various management techniques are applied to best fit the needs of each plot. From mowing invasive native grasses to spraying a potent herbicide, maximum effort is put towards the upkeep of these food sources. Currently, sixteen food plots ranging in size from 1/4 acre to 5 acres are under management. The plots are a mixture of clover, chicory, alfalfa, corn, wheat, and soybean. Additionally, there are over twelve mineral licks established throughout the hunting grounds. These food plots are absolutely critical for keeping area deer healthy and plentiful.
