Fully-Guided Hunt Details
- Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your personal Guide who will provide you with a detailed report on the current deer movement, patterns, weather conditions, and outlook for the next five days. You will also be given the opportunity to shoot your weapon on our 3D whitetail course from an elevated position.
- Next, your Guide will explain all applicable deer hunting rules and regulations associated with the state of Ohio. If needed, your guide will take you to purchase your hunting license and deer permit. In Ohio, the license and hunting permits are sold over the counter with no lottery or draw system.
- Your fully guided hunt at Mound Hill is exclusive and personal. Our top priority is to provide you with a shot opportunity at 140' deer and larger. These hunts occur on strictly managed property specifically dedicated to our fully guided clients. There will never be more than 2 clients per Guide, and most often the Guide will be working with you only.
- Each morning, the Guide will be up early with coffee brewing ready to take you to one of our carefully scouted pre hung tree stands. Throughout the hunt adjustments will be made based on the deer activity you are experiencing.
- Fully guided hunters stay on Mound Hill in either the Main Lodge or Scout Cabins along with their Guide who will also stay on the farm during your hunt. You will have 24 hour access to answer questions about anything pertaining to whitetail. We want your hunt to not only be successful in the field but also from an educational standpoint. The world of the whitetail is unique and discussing it with others can be just plain fun.
- Continental Breakfast, Lunch, and a hearty Country Dinner will be served in the Mound Hill Lodge daily.
- After harvest, your deer will be field dressed and removed by your Guide. It will then be taken to a local processor for processing.
- Trophy Professionally Photographed
- Scent Control practices are highly recommended. Scent control clothing along with sprays and detergents are effective when used properly. The use of tobacco is strictly prohibited during your stay with Mound Hill.
